Employee Opinion and Satisfaction Surveys
Measuring the level of engagement of employees is vital to the development of the appropriate HR initiatives to engage and retain employees. Benchmarking employee attitudes towards different HR practices will provide a measure of their effectiveness.
Purpose:
The engagement/satisfaction survey process will:
- Provide a method to obtain feedback from all employees
- Measure employee moral and satisfaction
- Prioritize initiatives
- Identify the need for specific changes and implement change in a timely manner
- Understand what your employees value most
- Measure the impact of new HR initiatives
Process:
Each Engagement / Satisfaction process is customized to fit your specific needs. Engagement surveys can be completed via the internet, company intranet, paper, fax, or one-on-one phone interviews.
Process Components:
- On-line or paper exit surveys
- Followed up with a 30 minute one-on-one phone interview
- Each item in the survey is responded to twice:
- By Importance
- By Performance
- The "GAP" between importance and performance is used to prioritize action items
- Reporting:
- Monthly
- Quarterly executive summary that is followed-up with a meeting
with key company representatives to discuss findings and next steps.
Dimensions:
The Engagement / Satisfaction data is reported back around the 6 key dimensions of employee engagement.
